The Receivers are primary antagonists in the Journal of Adventure series by D. T. Shipjos. They make up the army of the Darkness.
Physical Appearance[]
Normally Receivers take the form of demons, with horns on their heads, red skin, fangs, claws, and a tail. Each foot has two toes, and they are often depicted to be very muscular. However, most are capable of shapeshifting into a somewhat human form, a being who looks human, but still has small horns on their head.
Notable Receivers[]
Darkwind - originally known as the Eighth Receiver, she was the original wielder of the Key of Fire. She was first seen at the library where she kidnapped Austin McDonald.
